My schedule for this week is basically this:
Mon - last minute shopping, begin packing
Tues - Wed - packing
Thurs - Load up the rented van
Fri - leave super early in the morning
Sat - ?
Sun - Move in day!

Today was pretty fun! :D Samm stayed over last night. I made her watch zome K8 PVs XD. Then today mom, dad, Samm, and I went to Ikea, church, Boba World, Whole Foods Market because my dad wanted to, my house, Chipotle, then she went home. We were basically being stupid at Ikea and taking pictures randomly. Whole Foods apparently doesn't allow people to take pics in their store... AND WE WANTED A PHOTO OF THE CUTE CUPCAKES! With pink frosting and eyes and pretzel antlers!!! D: Uh, anyways. Their escalators have this thing where you can put in your cart and it will bring it down/up with you! We didn't see anyone do it though. :\

Samm has been talking to me about an idea where we would start a little business together. Like we would design clothes, jewelry, etc. I would draw the designs. :D Both of us really like the idea, where we would come up with ideas over breaks like xmas, and then try and start things next summer?

There's this Korean marketplace where I discovered.... Brazilian Pudding pocky. I've never heard of it, but it's good! They even have this jewelry section there, where mom and I saw the cutest earrings ever. They're gold with three dangling diamond flowers for $150. I wanted it but unfortunately.... mom has no money because of me. xD

Oh. marzazar and atax0ph0bic..... I AM JEALOUS THAT YOU FOUND WHAT I WANTED AT THE CHEAP ASIAN MUSIC STORE D:

It seems everyone's coming back from their vacations at the same. My friend Arpita got back from India and I'm seeing her again tomorrow, along with Samm who just got back from Hong Kong. :D Arpita and I had fun with hand puppets at Borders today, lol.

I just upgraded my macbook to OSX Leopard. It's sooo neat! :3

I wasn't able to see any of the meteor shower that was supposed to be last night. :[

edit // I am really, really, really weak for phone charms. (I feel like my phone's naked without one. xD; So... I have to buy one once the one I have breaks or is lost) Anyways! There's "a pair turtle bring you happy love" XDDD I bought a phone charm recently, but seeing this site... makes me feel like the one I just bought is lame.

Also, I started watching Code Blue. Only on episode 2 though. THE BRA MAN LOL! After I told my mom about it, she wants to watch it because it's a medical drama. And she wants to know what the "kon kon" guy looks like now. XD

Chapter 1


Here is one more recent drawing I did for this fic. Well, it features scenes from the first chapter. (It's not good quality right now because I took it with my phone, but I'll edit this post tomorrow when I can use my scanner).

I got my roommate info! Yeah, what are the odds that I DIDN'T get a roommate that isn't Asian considering Berkeley 40+% Asian... lol, but yeah, she's not. XD We've added each other on facebook, and I guess we ought to start talking soon about arrangements. Once again, Berkeley likes to leave you hanging and I found this out on the evening of August 5.

You know, I've noticed a pattern with adults when they talk to you about leaving for college. They ask you about how you feel, possible major, etc., and then this always comes up: "So are you leaving a boyfriend behind?" And I'm about to say "no", but then mom will butt in, "NO. SHE'S NOT ALLOWED." And me to mom, "Well... technically I've been allowed since I turned 18, but I just don't have one...." Gosh, and my Dad always jokingly tells me to not date until I'm 50. -___- LOL, Asian parents.


I finished Extras by Scott Westerfeld before I started Breaking Dawn. some spoilers below, yes.

Just got an email from Berkeley about housing and moving in and I get all excited for roommate info, but NO I HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL AUGUST 5 TO FIND OUT. D: D: THEY SAID EARLY AUGUST. As vanilla_rapture and I said, August 1 = early August. August 2 = LATE August. XD

OH. AHAHHA, me, Dad, and Mom were at Barnes & Noble yesterday, and I was looking at manga and this guy comes up to me and starts talking to me. He said something about me inspiring him to draw something and that he's an artist. Then he left... only to come back later and practically tell me his life story. And then he asked me if I like Japanese things and then hhe says he's been to Japan 17 times. Later on, I found out from Mom he had talked to her too... and on the way out we see him talking to basically every girl that passes him by. So, we think he was trying to pick up girls at B&N XDDD

Have been reading Extras, the fourth book of the Uglies series by Scott Westerfield. Love that series. How's it's futuristic but believable and yay conspiracies and brainwashing and bubbleheads etc etc. Need something to hold me over until I can get Breaking Dawn. xDDD

5.8 earthquake was what woke me up with morning. And then it got creepy the fact that all the phones in my house became dead and my cellphone wasn't working. .___. Aftershocks yay.
